    • Belts
    • Hoses
    • Battery

In addition, we visually inspect the brakes suspension and exhaust for leaks and problems and provide a written report detailing the status of your vehicle. Under hood fluids are checked and topped up at no cost to the customer, including up to one litre of coolant if necessary.

The services we provide and the parts we use are all Warranty Approved, which means your new car warranty is completely safe with us.

Coolant flush

The Cooling FlusherRadiator coolant, or anti-freeze as it is commonly known, works to combat both heat and cold, ensuring that your engine doesn't freeze or over-heat and that it operates at its most efficient temperature. Over time, the protective components of this fluid are weakened leading to rust and corrosion forming in the radiator and engine. To prevent these problems, the radiator coolant should be changed at regular service intervals as required by your car manufacturer.

Some manufacturers use long life coolants which extends the service interval, we can service both long life and regular coolant in your vehicle. Vehicle coolant is tested for freeze point at each oil change we perform. We can also test for pH if requested, coolant that looks fine visually, may in fact be forming acids in your engine which degrade the water pump and cause corrosion in your engine and radiator.

During servicing of your cooling system we use a coolant flushing machine which operates on air pressure. (shown) It uses air pressure to open the thermostat and flushes the entire system, including heater core, replacing all your coolant without running your engine.

Differentials

Differentials exist in rear wheel, or four wheel drive vehicles. The differential gear set allows your car's wheels to rotate at different speeds while turning corners and provides the driving force while driving in a straight line. Differential fluid or gear oil protects these gears in the differential. Rear wheel drive vehicles have a single differential at the rear; four wheel drives have two, one on each set of wheels.

Eventually, the protective additives in gear oil break down. Replacing the gear oil at the manufacturer's required service interval will help to prolong the life of the gears and bearings within the differential. Some vehicles can be serviced by having the differentials evacuated with a suction pump and others require removal of the differential cover.

In either case we can easily service the differential in your vehicle to prolong its life. Trailer towing and hauling heavy loads can cause the fluid to break down more rapidly and the differential fluids are inspected at each oil change by our technicians.

Transmissions

T Tech Transmission Fluid ExchangerToday’s cars and trucks have four, five and six speed automatic transmissions. Like everything else in car design, transmissions are lighter and tougher than even 10 years ago, made of new materials and outperforming their predecessors in every way.

In order to keep your transmission running well, every automobile manufacturer recommends changing the fluid at regular intervals. The fluid in your automatic transmission lubricates, cools and is used to create the hydraulic pressure to activate the valves in the transmission which allow smooth shifting.

We can service your transmission in three different ways;

Automatic Transmission Flush

This service is performed using a T Tech machine (pictured) attached in series with your transmission. Thirteen litres of fluid is pumped through the transmission and virtually 100% of the transmission fluid is replaced, including fluid held in the torque converter. Short of physically removing and dismantling the transmission, no other service comes close to replacing all the fluid in your automatic transmission. This service enhances performance, extends the life of the transmission and protects your car manufacturer's warranty.

Pan Removal and Gasket/Filter Replacement

Some car manufacturers recommend changing the automatic transmission filter and replacing the pan gasket when servicing the transmission.
- remove and clean the automatic transmission pan
- drain the old fluid
- install a new transmission filter
- install a new pan gasket
- refill the system with new warranty approved fluid

Automatic Transmission Flush and Gasket/Filter Replacement

Both the 100% fluid exchange and the transmission filter and pan gasket services are performed.

Manual Transmission Service

A manual transmission allows the driver to select the gear ratio to match the engine speed according to driving conditions. Manual transmission fluid lubricates and cools all the moving parts that allow you to shift quickly from one gear to another. Manual transmissions require maintenance according to manufacturer’s intervals, the same as an automatic transmission. Prolong the life of your manual transmission by replacing your fluid according to your vehicle manufacturer's service requirements.

Manual transmission fluid is inspected at each oil change performed at Pennzoil.

Fuel System Service

The fuel system mixes oxygen and gasoline for correct combustion. Over time, combustible deposits begin to form and clog carburetors (in older cars) and fuel injectors (in newer cars) causing sluggish starts and rough idling. A fuel system service will clean and condition your intake system by removing harmful deposits and carbon, resulting in easier starting, better engine performance, and improved fuel economy.

We can use either a single-step or two-step process to clean your fuel delivery system. The two-step consists of an additive which is added to a full tank of fuel and a concentrated cleaner which is injected into the fuel system while the vehicle is running at high idle. The single-step is the fuel additive only, which cleans as you drive.

Power Steering Flush

Wynn's Power Steering Flushing MachinePower steering fluid is used as a hydraulic fluid in modern power steering systems. It is pumped at high pressure to make it easy to control the direction of the vehicle despite the weight on the front wheels. Power steering fluid gradually darkens with contaminants and loses its hydraulic properties and effectiveness over time.

A power steering flush at the manufacturer’s recommended interval will protect the seals in the pump and steering rack and prolong the life of both. Power steering systems are easily flushed using our Wynn’s Power Steering flush machine while you wait. The fluid in the entire system is vacuumed out and replaced while operating the system under pressure.
